Job Description

This is varied role working within the families team supporting education advice and guidance to provide a comprehensive and effective service for clients seeking independent education advice.

This team provides a professional, high quality bespoke service for high net worth, discerning clients, helping to place their children in appropriate education institutions, and providing, when required, additional support in assessments, tutoring, guardianship and assessments. The post holder will primarily act as an Advisor with research, assessment support and client administration to enable the team to meet client needs and business targets.

The post holder will communicate on a regular basis with current clients to ensure that the highest level of service is being delivered at all times and lead on business development working with the Families Team and Marketing to grow the Gabbitas network for corporate channels to reach new clients.

They will be expected to conduct assessments, attend meetings, visit schools with clients and support marketing events from time to time.

The role is based in the London office but with Gabbitas offices in Dubai and China and clients from around the world there are good opportunities for career development for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Providing a high standard of client service at all times.
  • Acting as the first point of client contact for the Families team as required, dealing with enquiries in a timely manner to determine the client brief and liaise with clients either face to face by skype or telephone to discuss their needs and form the brief.
  • To use the CRM to drive client tracking and information so the whole team have access to client data as required.
  • Providing monthly reports on CRM tracking, lead generation and lead status.
  • Researching schools, liaising with schools and educational institutions as appropriate on the clients’ behalf determining availability of places, entrance requirements, deadlines etc.
  • Responsible for developing individual knowledge of independent education market to share with other members of Gabbitas and to produce snapshot reports for clients as required.
  • Working with other members of the Families team, contribute positively towards ensuring revenue budgets are met or exceeded.
  • Acting as an Advisor to book client school visits, attending as required, ensure school registrations, are made and produce visit schedules.
  • Attend client meetings with Advisors when required.
  • Positively contribute towards the success of the team to ensure monthly team revenue budgets are met or exceeded.
  • Prospect and uncover new potential clients and channels to clients we can target.
  • Actively network by representing Gabbitas through face to face events and social media platforms.
  • Work with the Marketing team to positively influence and shape new marketing initiatives to support new business development.
  • Line managed by Director of Families

  • Excellent communication skills and manner to deal with a wide variety of people in different aspects of the role

A varied and interesting role, this position sits within the UK Families team, supporting client families, with a range of educational services. This team provides a professional, high quality bespoke service for high net worth, discerning clients, helping to place their children in appropriate education institutions, and providing, when required, additional support in tutoring, guardianship and assessments. The post holder will primarily support the Advisors with research and a high level of administrative support to enable them to meet client needs and business targets.

Responsibilities

  • Providing a high standard of client service at all times
  • Acting as the first point of client contact for the Families team, dealing with enquiries from the Gabbitas website, or directly via telephone or email; inputting client data on the CRM, contacting clients, promoting services and booking consultations.
  • Sifting website enquiries daily, inputting enquiry data on the CRM and forwarding to the relevant department for action.
  • Researching schools as directed by the Advisors and producing ‘snapshot’ reports for clients
  • Assisting the Advisors to book client school visits, make school registrations, pay registration fees and produce visit schedules.
  • Attend client meetings with Advisors when required

Job Description

You will join the senior management team alongside the MD and Deputy MD with the target of achieving 25% net profit growth in 2018-19 and lay the foundation for a doubling of net profit by 2021-22 for Gabbitas.

You will lead the Family services team who provide a professional, high quality bespoke service for high net worth, discerning clients, helping to place their children in appropriate independent educational institutions, as well as additional support in education assessments, tutoring, guardianship. Client requirements can vary from nursery and pre-prep through to senior school and HE and the excellent service they expect requires working closely with the family and siblings throughout the children’s educational journey.

Strategic Direction

Shaw Trust businesses have a duel strategic growth approach.  Plan B (Baseline Plan) and Plan A (Ambition Plan). For Gabbitas, this means:

Plan A: expanding the presence, service offering and markets of Gabbitas within the UK and internationally.

Job Description

Success for this role will be a clear path to significant growth for all family services and a clear path to an expanded service offer for educational advice and guidance.

You will:

  • drive the growth of Gabbitas family education advice business through marketing and sales, product and service development and work with the senior management team and Directors of Gabbitas’s international offices to ensure clients have excellent and consistent services from Gabbitas.
  • work with the senior management team and colleagues across the wider Shaw Trust to set the future business strategy for Gabbitas and meet strategic targets in developing new and existing international markets and report regularly on progress and achievement.
  • agree annual financial and performance targets for Family Services with the senior management team, to be approved by the Gabbitas Board and be accountable for the achievement of these targets.
  • work closely with the Gabbitas MD to ensure that your team have and use opportunities to develop their skills in support of the achievement of Gabbitas’ strategic aims.
  • take line management responsibility for the Senior Education Advisors and the Families team.
  • maintain excellent relationships with key partners and stakeholders, including a keen knowledge of the schools market and HNW client needs and values
  • represent the company nationally and internationally and develop and strengthen strategic partnerships with schools and educational institutions.
  • ensure quality assurance and a high level of client satisfaction with Gabbitas and our services.
  • make a contribution to all large scale and strategic sales opportunities, including identifying and promoting cross selling across Gabbitas and the wider education group including, Optimus and the Shaw Trust.

Personal Specification 

An experienced professional with knowledge of and experience in the UK independent schools sector, outstanding communications skills, sales and marketing experience, customer service skills and a real understanding of HNW clients and business development in this sector.  Requirements:

* Providing copy for these posts to ensure the right tone of voice and identity

* Setting up Facebook adverts for specific campaigns (agreeing a budget, audience, time-length) and analysing the effectiveness of these
